The Father of Champagne
Merry Christmas!!
So I am sitting watching the snow fall in southwest Washington and loving it. This morning we had a doe come up and hang out for a bit. She really liked apples quite a bit.
So I have decided to brush up on my Champagne knowledge.... The father of champagne was a Benedictine monk, only three grapes are approved for making champagne... Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, and you should chill a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice before serving. Just some interesting things that I learned about Champagne...
Now I am looking forward to New Years where I will be able to pop several bottles and celebrate a whole new year of learning and challanges...
I am blessed!
Happy Holidays!

Happy Holiday Season
The other big push is to be sure to spend at least 15 minutes a day sourcing for new toys regarding recruiting tools and information that will be helpful to bank for the next huge run on candidates and resume requirements....
This is all in conjunction with studying for a test that will make an impact for my career as a whole. December 8th is the make it or break it day..... I have been remiss in updating this blog due to every free moment focusing on this test... so wish me lots of luck and I will be back on the ninth with great news and updates!

Social Networking
Social Networking......
Yesterday I listened to Carmen Hudson talk about how easy it is to Social Network while at the SHRM SMA lunch. It was great! Carmen challenged recruiters, sourcers, HR and business people to start realizing how easy and simple it is to get started.
I am amazed at how many people don't have a LinkedIn account, are afraid to get connected with people on Facebook and have no idea what a powerful tool Twitter is...
That being said I am a baby when it comes to learning all of this stuff and had a friend point out that not connecting to people and building relationships is a really really bad move....
So here I am not a writer not really anyone but out talking about what I do love... the connection with people...
We are getting to the point where we will not rely on computers any more but we will be solely mobile... what a thought that we will be able to keep up today with as many as a million people from just a cell phone.... I love technology and where it will take us
Curious to know if any one agrees...
